Meoded Slate Lite Short Description:

Thin stone veneer made with fiberglass backing. Immensely robust, utilized as indoor/outdoor wall covering, in wet areas, or as covering in most areas of industrial processing.

EcoStone Short Description:

Ultra-thin, ultra-flexible veneer supported by cotton backing. Capability to be cut and glued on nearly any surface type/shape, including furniture, technology, and clothing. Environmentally friendly from CO²-efficient transportation and low usage of stone material.

Translucent Short Description:

Stone veneer produced as translucent material. With light source behind Translucent sheets comes beautiful, illuminated back-lit pattern. Individual panels boast truly unique color/texture pattern. Different effects may occur based on light type used.

With our cutting-edge methods and the latest technology, we’re able to preserve the original beauty of the slate as it was originally created.

Product Description

Meoded Slate is a real stone veneer manufactured in paper-thin layers for optimal commercial, residential, and personal design. The 100% natural stone surface is enforced from the back with either fiberglass, cotton, or a translucent layer for better stability and easier processing.

We source materials from the most massive, visually stunning slate blocks from around with world, originally weighing up to five tons. With the most cutting-edge methods and latest technology, we’re able to produce our thin Slate layers while preserving all their natural color, texture, and beauty.

Slate products are completely flexible. Each sheet weighs just 0.3lb/ft² or less, depending on the sheet type and size, which significantly reduces transportation costs compared to traditional stone slabs.

All chemical components of Slate are harmless to health and correspond to the highest quality standards.

Slate :

  • 100% natural stone surface
  • Harder and stronger than stone tiles; reinforced with polyester resin
  • Thickness: 1.5 – 2 mm
  • Weight: approx. 0.3lb/ft²
  • Standard format: 2 x 4 ft
  • Large format: 4 x 8 ft
  • Tolerance: 1 – 2 mm in length and width
  • Fire protection Cfl-s1 (EN 13501-01) / B1 (DIN 4102): Floors
  • Fire retardant material available (Cd0s3): Walls
  • Maximum Temperature 248°F
  • Abrasion class: PEI II: For areas with average traffic and low abrasion
  • Cutting: hard-metal tipped circular saw, skill saw (diamond blade, stone saw)
  • Drilling and routing: Use tools for wood or stone
  • Flexibility can be increased by applying heat (using heat-gun around 750°F)

EcoStone:

  • 100% natural stone surface
  • Backing: Cotton and water-based polymer
  • Thickness: less than 1 mm
  • Weight: approx. 0.16lb/ft²
  • Standard format: 2 x 4 ft
  • Large format: 4 x 8 ft
  • Size accuracy 1 – 2 mm in length and width
  • 3D-formable
  • Cutting: carpet knife or scissor from the rear side
  • Flexibility can be increased by applying heat (using heat-gun around 750°F)

Translucent:

  • 100% natural stone surface
  • Harder and stronger than stone tiles by reinforcing with polyester resin
  • Thickness: 1.5 – 2 mm
  • Weight: approx. 0.3lb/ft²
  • Standard format: 2 x 4 ft
