Crafted from natural limestone and marble dust, Meoded’s Marmorino Plasters celebrate the timeless beauty of traditional lime-based finishes with a refined, architectural presence. Known for their soft movement and stone-like depth, Marmorino plasters create surfaces that feel both organic and sophisticated. As the lime plaster carbonates, it naturally hardens back into stone – resulting in a finish that is as enduring as it is elegant.
Formulated for both performance and design flexibility, Meoded’s Marmorino Plasters are fully breathable, allowing walls to naturally regulate moisture while helping prevent mold and mildew. When protected with Meoded’s sealers, these finishes become washable and easy to maintain, ensuring long-lasting beauty in both interior and exterior environments.
Marmorino Tintoretto delivers a smooth, matte to low-sheen venetian plaster finish with subtle variation that evokes natural limestone. Its versatility allows applicators to achieve everything from refined, stone-smooth surfaces to softly textured, timeworn effects – making it ideal for walls, ceilings, and other architectural surfaces.
Marmorino Palladino offers a classic Marmorino aesthetic with slightly more of a body and texture, creating heavier textured surfaces with depth and gentle movement reminiscent of Old World plasterwork. This finish is perfect for achieving authentic, hand-applied finishes with a balanced, natural matte appearance.
Marmorino Intonaco is a traditional, heavy aggregate lime plaster designed for more textured and architectural applications. Its mineral composition delivers a robust, natural stone character ideal for exterior façades or interiors seeking more textured surfaces such as rough textures, natural stone looks, and fluted finishes.
Available in a curated palette of over 88 colors, Meoded Marmorino Plasters blend centuries-old craftsmanship with modern performance – bringing timeless character and natural beauty to any space.
These breathable, lime-based plasters showcase natural depth, soft color variation, and authentic textures – whether applied smooth, subtly layered, or with more pronounced, architectural movement

Marmorino Plasters provide a natural, lime-based solution ideal for contemporary spaces, classic interiors, and architectural restoration projects – across residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Rooted in centuries-old Italian plaster traditions, Marmorino plaster is celebrated for its soft texture, mineral depth, and refined stone appearance.
Made from natural limestone and mineral aggregates, these plasters are refined into a smooth, workable paste that, once applied, gradually carbonates and hardens back into natural stone.
As the lime cures, it develops subtle movement and a natural patina, creating surfaces with warmth, durability, and lasting character that evolve beautifully over time.
Marmorino Plasters create soft, stone-inspired surfaces with natural movement, gentle color variation, and subtle or heavy textures – developing increased depth and character as the lime matures and ages over time.
Meoded Marmorino Plasters are crafted from natural limestone and mineral aggregates to create finishes that are breathable, durable, and authentically stone-like. Unlike synthetic or acrylic decorative plasters-which can trap moisture, crack, peel, or deteriorate over time-our lime-based Marmorino plasters carbonate naturally, hardening back into stone and developing a soft, evolving patina that becomes richer with age. Formulated with sustainability and performance in mind, Meoded Marmorino Plasters are zero-VOC, non-toxic, and fully eco-conscious, making them ideal for healthy indoor environments and sustainable building practices. Their natural depth, texture, and organic beauty offer a level of authenticity and longevity that acrylic alternatives simply cannot replicate. Preparation: Surfaces must be smooth, clean, dry, and free of dust or contaminants. For best results, Marmorino Tintoretto, Palladino, and Intonaco perform well over Level 4–5 walls.
New Surfaces: Prime as needed with a water-based primer – such as a PVA primer for drywall or a multi-purpose primer for wood or glossy substrates – and allow it to dry completely. Apply one coat of Meoded Quartz Primer and let it set for 3–5 hours before plaster application.
Existing Surfaces: Lightly sand any glossy or sealed areas and remove all dust. Flat, matte surfaces only require Quartz Primer, while previously painted surfaces with sheen should first be primed with a water-based multi-purpose primer followed by a coat of Quartz Primer.
Smooth / Matte Marmorino Finishes:
Marmorino Tintoretto & Palladino
Apply two thin coats using a stainless steel rounded edge trowel or a Whiteout Trowel for light colors.
Textured / Architectural Marmorino Finish:
Marmorino Palladino & Intonaco
First coat: Apply leveled and even. While still damp, lightly sponge in circular motions to soften chatter marks. Allow to dry for for 24 hours.
Second Coat (Heavy Textures) – Marmorino Intonaco’s medium-grain composition is ideal for creating flutes, distressed effects, and other textured finishes. To prevent cracking, apply multiple thin coats instead of a single thick layer.
Sealer & Protection:
Once fully dry (minimum 48 hours), protect the surface with a topcoat.
Surface Preparation – Surface should be smooth, clean and dust free. It is recommended to apply over a level 4-5 wall. New Surface – Surface should be smooth, clean and dust free. Prime the substrate with the recommended water based primer as required; such as a PVA primer for new drywall, multi-purpose primer for wood or glossy surfaces, and let it dry fully. Next apply one coat of Meoded Quartz Primer allowing it at least 3-5 hours to dry.
Existing Surface – Any surface with sheen should be sanded, dust free, and then primed with a water based multi-purpose primer letting it dry fully. Next apply one coat of Quartz Primer allowing it at least 3-5 hours to dry. Preparation of flat surfaces require only the application of Quartz Primer.
First Coat – First coat of Tintoretto should be applied thinly and evenly, covering the entire wall. While the plaster is still moist, it is recommended to use a damp sponge in a circular motion to create a more uniform design and to eliminate any trowel marks. Allow at least 8 hours for the base coat to dry.
Second Coat – If required to smooth, lightly sand the first coat with 150-220 grit sandpaper before proceeding. Apply the second coat in the same manner as the first coat. When the material is still moist, smooth the surface repeatedly with a clean trowel until desired finish is achieved. Avoid formation of dark trowel marks. Use a Whiteout Trowel to prevent formation of dark trowel marks.
Sealer/Wax – After a minimum of 48 hours of dry time, it is recommended to protect the finish with either a sealer or wax. It is recommended to use Stain Shield natural look sealer to provide the finish with protection from moisture and dirt, while not adding sheen or changing the color. If a low sheen finish is desired, it is recommended to apply Meoded’s Hydrowax.

Marmorino plaster is made from natural lime, marble dust, and mineral aggregates. This traditional composition creates a breathable, stone-like finish that develops natural depth, durability, and character as it cures.
Marmorino plaster has a slightly heavier body because of its mineral aggregate, allowing both smooth and textured finishes. Venetian plaster is typically finer, smoother, and often polished to achieve a shinier surface.
Marmorino Tintoretto creates smoother, refined finishes with subtle movement. Marmorino Palladino provides more texture and body, while Marmorino Intonaco is designed for heavier architectural textures and fluted effects.
Yes, due to Marmorino plaster’s lime-based composition, it remains breathable and naturally creates an alkaline surface that helps resist mold and mildew while supporting moisture regulation within walls.
Sealing is recommended when Marmorino plaster is applied in areas that may be exposed to dirt, stains, or water; once fully cured, it can be protected with a sealer such as Meoded Stain Shield for a natural matte look or Hydrowax for added protection and a soft sheen.
Marmorino plaster is considered a sustainable wall finish because it is made from natural limestone and mineral aggregates, contains zero VOCs, remains highly breathable, and naturally carbonates over time, returning to stone while supporting healthy indoor air quality.
